I once read a quote from L.Ron Hubbard that basically says that if a man wants to make a million dollars all he has to do is start a religion....very suspious to me. I just dont understand how so many people can study and believe in a "religion" created by a sciene fiction writer. Every thing about Scientology is fishy. Its just a way for somebody to make money without having to pay taxes.

I totally agree. Also, any "church" that has a separate VIP section for celebrities is super questionable.

One theologist defines a cult v. a religion in the difference that a cult hides its central beliefs from the outside world and even its own members, while a religion openly expresses all its beliefs. The fact that Scientologists must pay thousands of dollars to enter higher levels, and are finally told the 'truth' about Xenu that is central to the belief ONLY at the highest circle and to the fortunate wealthy few, definitely qualifies them as a cult.

Yes, Scientology was written by a science Fiction writer, and the Bible was written by a group of Men that believed the world was flat...
